The Real Premier League Table

Our new software corrects individual matches and, consequently, league positions for all leagues for the erroneous input of match officials.
Whether such inputs are mistakes or otherwise is not the issue.

Applying the software to Premier League games historically shows the marked bias against Arsenal season after season when compared with the other leading clubs.

But what does this season reveal?

Below is the EPL table corrected for the errors of officialdom.

1. Man City 3-9 (-)
2. West Ham 3-7 (+9)
3. Man Utd 3-7 (-)
4. Chelsea 3-6 (+6)
5. Norwich 3-5 (+3)
6. Palace 3-5 (-1)
7. Everton 3-4 (-)
8. Bournemouth 3-4 (+5)
9. Spurs 3-4 (+7)
10. Liverpool 3-4 (-7)
11. Sunderland 3-4 (+8)
12. Watford 3-3 (-)
13. Villa 3-3 (+1)
14. Swansea 3-3 (-8)
15. Newcastle 3-2 (+2)
16. Arsenal 3-2 (-7)
17. Leicester 3-2 (-15)
18. Southampton 3-2 (-)
19. Stoke 3-1 (-4)
20. WBA 3-1 (-)

Key Points:

1) Leicester City are in a highly inflated position which no doubt suits the ubiquitous Gary Lineker and his cronies. Swansea are also overrated.
2) The 'crisis' at West Ham is related to Allardyce and his attempts to set media agenda on his former club via his bizarrely numerous media appearances.
3) The 'crises' at Chelsea, Spurs and Sunderland are also overblown.
4) Liverpool and Arsenal are not as good as their league positions suggest and anyone witnessing the glorified pub football played by both teams in last night's 0-0 draw will surely agree.

Early days for sure but the mainstream media news agendas are largely based around fallacious realities.

Who knows? This could be the season where the officials coincide their decisions with Arsenal...
... after all, the Gunners were given Jon Moss for last year's FA Cup Final (an official who has only ever overseen Arsenal victories).
